How I Do What I Do

As Oprah often says...  'I had an Ephiphany'.....
I too had an Epiphany this past week.
I thought I would pop in and share it with you all.

In a nut shell... here's how I am able to do all that I do in my business......  are you sitting down?
This is big....
Okay, not really BIG... But it really is the sum of it all!

I never think 'I can't'.....
I can't figure that out...
I can't understand that...
I can't learn how to do that....
Nope... never really crosses my mind....

With the big beautiful world of google in front of me... anything is possible to accomplish!!
It's all out there... waiting to be shared....

Some information is free...and some you have to pay for.... But it's there.

Amazon.... LOVE it too!! The information we have available to us...is AMAZING.

So this week, as I was exploring something new...  I realized the idea of CAN'T does not exist in my creative life.

Next up on the TO DO list....
Wipe the word CAN'T right out of my mind... creative or personal....
'sigh'

Do you find yourself thinking I can't, I don't know how, I could never do that?

Think again, my friend!

You CAN...  it may take awhile... it may not be easy....but heck YES ....you CAN...
and when you DO figure it out...
the reward will be BEYOND....

Not sure where to begin?  Perhaps this may help?

What are you struggling with?
I challenge you to turn your thinking around... even if it's just one little thing....
and see what you CAN do.

Share with us..  what have you conquered?  What would you love to conquer?

Happiest Friday....

xxo, Kim

Um.....YES, that's all I think when I am thinking about starting up my biz. I can't, I can't, I can't. Ugh. It stops me in my tracks, dang it. Thanks for the words of wisdom and encouragement. I need to change my thinking.

Kim - you did it again! Gave us a challenge and lesson that could literally change lives.

I woke up feeling down (remodeling again) after reading things I'm feeling a little bit better and ready to take on the weekend.

I know so many people who say they "can't. How do they know if they don't at least try. I'm certainly not an expert on everything I attempt to do, but I observe, study, google, practice, etc. and I improve slowly...sometimes fast. Even if my attemps are failures, I certainly learned something new and if I'm really stubborn, I will start all over and try again. Right now I'm learning new photography skills - switching from auto to manual - it's a whole new world!

Wise words, you are absolutely right. It's one of the most important lessons we teach our little ones too: That they can do and become whatever they want if they put their mind to it.

Great post!

Kim,
Great inspirational post! Well, give me any art based challenge and I'm up for it. But, (you probably know what's coming) give me a computer-type challenge and I'm usually floundering! I keep trying with help from my best friend, my husband.

I always say "can't is a can that doesn't want to".
one thing i'm working on is calling myself a (whisper!!) =ahem= writer. i love to write but don't feel qualified to call myself this. I continue to try and understand why.
Thanks for pushing me just a bit more to dig deeper.

I'm with you, Kim, on the endless information google and amazon provide. I'd add that the boosts of inspiration I feel each time I visit your blog are just as amazing.

Have a wonderful weekend.

Yes, I am right there with you as week, where there is a will there is a way. The biggest thing that I would love to conquer: write a book.
