Oh! but to be greeted on a porch by a toy soldier. Please take me away on that imagination journey.
Lovely choice.

Heehee! I am imagining what you might write here, with this photo. I was thinking of your "daily practice" series as I wrote my blog post today, on what my regular practice of posting a photo and writing about it has brought me.

i imagine that jolly soldier coming to life
as soon as we look away ... he giggles,
he scratches his nose and maybe
does a goofy little dance just to
see if he can before we look
his way again!

thank you, marcie!
practicing imagination
is what the child in us
all need! : )

Makes me think of the queen's guard in London and the focus it would take to take there unsmiling while everyone snaps your photo and tries to get your attention.
