The Shed Project

Happiest Monday my beautiful inspired friends!!

I wanted to pop in and share my true gratitude for the beautiful contributors and visitors of the i-studio.  It's been so completely amazing.  And I look forward to each day ...reading the inspirational words of our contributors and seeing all the fantastic comments.

I wanted to share something with you all!!  I'm so excited about this.  I just had to pass it along... just in case you too may be interested in something like this!!

I'm so needing to reduce the clutter in my life....  and I am completely fascinated by The Shed Project.  I have signed up.  And it begins on September 14th.

Bindu's story is really fascinating.  She is letting go of all but 100 possessions...and getting ready to head out on an adventure of a lifetime. She's inviting people to join her.. on their own 'shedventure'.... in her online course The Shed Project.

Here's Bindu's description of this course:  If this interests you, pop over to her site and check it out.

On September 14, I’m starting an 8 week adventure in letting go.

A Shedventure!

I will be letting go of all but 100 of my possessions, and 10 lbs off my body.

And I’d love you to join me…
…because when you travel light you have more freedom and flexibility. You can explore different paths and different choices.
…because when you let go of excess baggage you create beautiful, clear space. Space to breathe. Space to see your world and life afresh. Space for new energy and new ideas to flood in.
But letting go is rarely easy. Which is why we’re going to do this together.

The Shed Project is about coming together as an online community, to support each other in letting go of the excess baggage. To support you in letting go of whatever is weighing you down.

Anyhow, I know this may not be for everyone... but I just wanted to pass it along.
If by chance you decide to join in....let me know and we can be in touch thru it all.

I'm excited to see where this takes me.
Clearing out the clutter has been heavy on my mind lately.  Letting go of some of our stuff!
We just have too much.
I'm not sure what's ahead for John and I.
The boys are heading on their own paths.  I'd love to travel someday.
I just think letting go of some of our stuff is definitely in need...
and part of this journey I am on.

I'd like to share my shedventure stories here at the studio.... It should be interesting!!

Before I sign off....
I posted a new daily pic HERE.  Please take a moment to take a look.
It's an extraordinary image by Hilde...capturing the raw emotion of 9-11.
It's really an incredibly moving capture.

Here's to a wonderful, most inspired week my friends... full of all kinds of goodness.....

sending lots of love....xxo, kim

Oh boy this is one place...I've been thinking about alot lately. I feel like there is extra weight on my shoulders..monkey on my back, I need to get rid of. I'm in on this one. I know it is going to be hard. But I need this.
Thanks for telling me about it!

A concept I'd so like to embrace. To shed 100 items..and to live a 'lighter' life!!!
And - such a powerful image. Perfect for remembrance and 9-11!

I have thought about this myself, it is a process I have been going through over the past few years, this shedding. I don't think I am ready to get it down to 100 things, but I definitely need to make more space in my life.
It will be fun to follow Bindu and the others who go for it!
