a very natural heart ~ let me take you

hi! i'm prairiegirl ...

and i am very much trembling here with excitement ...

to be a part of this fabulous place of inspiration ...

i am honored and humbled ...

thank you, kim!

...

i am forever inspired by nature ...

by all that surrounds me ...

and i am forever grateful to my parents

for showing me the wonders of nature since the day i opened my eyes ... : )

as a child, i spent hours playing on a little brick path in our yard  ...

whatever little weed grew in the cracks of the path

deemed most delectable for a host of dragonflies ...

red ones ... yellow ones ... green ones ...

being little, i had all the time in the world ...

all the time to sit so, so still ...

becoming very good friends with these marvels ...

having them light on my fingers ...

looking deep into their eyes ...

being awed ...

being inspired ...

my heart beating fast yet slow ...

i have held those simple friendships dear and close ...

from a very early age, it was clear to see ...

the palette of my life would be drawn from nature ...

...

when i first started visiting blogs  (long before i had one of my own) ...

i would go and just get lost ...

astonished at the myriad of people sharing so much that spoke to me!

...

so, i started this iFILE on my desktop ...

every time i came across something that wow'd and inspired me

i would put the image

or the words

into my iFILE ...

and, whenever i need a boost ...

or perhaps to calm my overloaded mind ...

i flip through ...

sometimes quickly ...

sometimes methodically ...

and every time, i find something that tugs at me for that moment ...

like today ...

un coeur tres nature meaning a very natural heart  en francais

whispered "share me"!

so, won't you let me take you there ...

to a little spot in provence, france ...

completely inspired by nature ...

...

til next time ~

dragonfly love to you!

xo

ps. if you want to see my little dragonfly friend up close, just click on the images : )

these are just gorgeous! I love your thoughts on time, how you have to take it, allow yourself to take it so you can witness something spectacular.
